Every two years, 24 of the best golfers from Europe and the United States go head-to-head in match play competition. This year American team captain, Davis Love III, commissioned Clint Orms Engravers and Silversmiths to create customized mint julep cups for the 12 American team members competing in the 2016 Ryder Cup Tournament.
This video documents the process Clint put in place to make the cups and is a great peek into the art and craft of silversmithing.
Erin & Jimmy Walker commissioned gifts for teammates, spouses and Andy Sanders.
Jimmy Walker commissioned a flask set branded with the Hazeltine imagery.
Clint these pieces just redefined why I feel your are in my mind, one of the best silversmiths of your era.
I feel blessed to have gotten to know Clint and his family. He has many stories like this that he never mentions unless asked. He is as humble a person as you will meet. A great talent and as great of a person.
I lived in Kerrville/Ingram for 25 years. Very sorry we did not meet. You are one of a few that have this talent. I am a designer of fine homes and the artistic quality you have is beautiful. I only wish you the best !!!!!!

Kathy and I have gotten to know Roxie and Clint very over the past 10 years. Not only do we have a beautiful collection of Clint’s work, but we have given away many pieces as gifts to family and friends. As Clint has told me many times, the buckles are intended to “last a lifetime”. Clint is a gifted artist, superior craftsman and wonderful person – it has been a true gift to get to know Clint and his family.
